Elbit Systems Iron Fist is an advanced soft and hard kill active protection system aiming at enhancing self-defense capacity of armored platforms ranging from light vehicles to heavy AFVs, against modern battlefield threats. Iron Fist neutralizes anti tank threats by two layers of active protection: soft kill - it utilizes directional E/O jammer mounted on each launcher and a hard kill - based on a blast interceptor initiated at a safe distance from the defended platform, resulting in the destruction or deflection of the threat.
