Conventional intelligence gathering aircraft do not carry soft-kill EW measures and are thus less effective in closing the sensor-to-shooter loop. The combined capabilities of intelligence gathering and EW soft-kill enable powerful control over the electromagnetic spectrum. These capacities onboard a single platform provide enhanced versatility for a wide range of mission types according to customer needs, combining operational elements – ESM/ELINT, ECM, COMINT, COMJAM and Command and Control (C2) – all operated and managed by a single entity onboard a platform.

Passive detection and tracking of approaching missiles.

IR advanced spectral flares protect aircraft against new generation heat-seeking missiles. The flares are used on a wide range of aircraft and helicopters against the threat of air-to-air and ground-to-air missiles.

Magnesium Teflon Viton flares. Reliable and effective, the expendable countermeasures can be ejected from all modern fixed-wing fighter aircraft, such as the F-16, F-15 and others, as well as from helicopters and transport aircraft, such as the C-130 Hercules.

The MINI-SAMP small-form decoy flare dispenser system is capable of defeating modern IR seeking MANPADS and air-to-air missiles. With one-third the weight and length of standard flares, the mini stand-alone missile protection system provides protection for light helicopters previously undefended due to weight constraints.

Integrated airborne self-protection system.

The active decoy is used in Suppression of Enemy Air Defense (SEAD) missions, enhancing survivability of friendly aircraft and guided munitions by saturating enemy air defense systems with multiple false targets with individual target Radar Cross Sections (RCS) and velocity. The ATALD can simulate attacks against early warning radars, causing air defense systems to expend resources on the decoys.

The L70 upgrade is a cost-effective, integrated and coordinated system for enhanced air defense against low-level air attack and ground targets. Featuring advanced operational components for targeting and firing as well as radar interface, the L70 delivers improved accuracy and hit probability. The upgrade offers operational flexibility, with quick deployment and rapid reaction time.

Elbit Systems MTV flares protect aircraft against infrared (IR) heat-seeking missiles. The flares are used on a wide range of aircraft and helicopters against the threat of air-to-air and surface-to-air heat-seeking missiles. FG-2 is a unique flare with two half-size pellets, designed to enhance aircraft protection by loading double the number of flares in every dispenser.

The FG-3 flare is fit in form and function to the M206, and it can be ejected from all Western dispensing systems, such as ALE 40/47, M-130, WIZARDS, and others. The flare is equipped with a PSM (Pyrotechnic Sequencing Mechanism) to ensure aircraft safety and prevent ignition inside the magazine.

The flares are used on a wide range of aircraft and helicopters against the threat of air-to-air and surface-to-air heat-seeking missiles. The FG-6 flare is fit in form and function to the MJU-7, and it can be ejected from all Western dispensing systems such as ALE 40/47, M-130, WIZARDS, and others.

SPARCS-FLARES^TM spectral IR decoys have a combat-proven record against the threat of advanced infrared heat-seeking missiles with dual-band target discrimination. SPARCS-FLARES^TM feature low luminance and smoke results and are virtually invisible to the naked eye.

SPARCS-FLARES^TM advanced spectral flares protect aircraft against the most advanced air-to-air and surface-to air heat seeking missiles in the modern battlefield. The flares are used on a wide range of fixed wing aircraft and helicopters. SPARC-3 / XM216 spectral IR decoys have a combat-proven record against the threat of advanced infrared heat-seeking missiles with dual-band target discrimination.

SPARC-36 is a reliable and effective 36mm diameter advanced spectral decoy flare. The flare is suitable for Navy platforms adapted to round 36mm diameter countermeasures, such as the F-18.
