Transparency in Supply Chain Statement

Elbit Systems UK Limited and its subsidiaries companies (the “Elbit UK Companies”) are committed to conducting our business in a manner consistent with supply chain compliance best practices, including combating slavery and human trafficking.

OUR BUSINESS

The Elbit UK Companies are part of the Elbit Systems’ worldwide organisation of companies. We are engaged in the design, development, manufacture, sale and support of a wide range of high technology systems and products, and the performance of projects, for defence, homeland security and various commercial applications. Our customers include governmental agencies and leading industries both in the U.K. and around the world. We maintain engineering and manufacturing facilities in several locations in the U.K., employing hundreds of highly skilled personnel.

OUR SUPPLY CHAINS

Our supply chains include a range of subsystem, product and component manufacturers and suppliers, as well as service providers, both in the U.K. and around the world.

OUR POLICIES ON ANTI-SLAVERY AND HUMAN TRAFFICKING

We are committed to ensuring that there is no modern slavery or human trafficking in our supply chains or in any part of our business. We have adopted an Elbit UK-wide Anti Slavery and Human Trafficking Policy, which is part of our Supplier Code of Conduct, and constitutes a standard part of our agreements with our supply chains. Our Anti-Slavery and Human Trafficking Policy reflects our commitment to acting ethically and with integrity in all our business relationships and to implementing and enforcing effective systems and controls to ensure slavery and human trafficking is not taking place anywhere in our supply chains.

DUE DILIGENCE PROCESSES FOR ANTI-SLAVERY AND HUMAN TRAFFICKING

As part of our measures to identify and mitigate risks in our supply chain we have in place processes to:

  • Identify and assess potential risk areas in our supply chains;
  • Monitor potential risk areas in our supply chains;
  • Mitigate the risk of slavery and human trafficking occurring in our supply chains;
  • Maintain a system for reporting suspected violations; and
  • Protect whistle blowers.

SUPPLIER ADHERENCE TO OUR VALUES AND ETHICAL STANDARDS

We have zero tolerance to slavery and human trafficking. To ensure all those in our supply  chains comply with our policy, we have in place a supply chain compliance programme. This  includes a standard requirement for those in our supply chains to agree to our Supplier Code  of Conduct and Anti-Slavery and Human Trafficking Policy and to advise us of any suspected  violations to that policy. Our supply chain compliance team consists of dedicated  management, commercial, quality, purchasing, operations, human resources and legal  personnel.

TRAINING

To ensure a high level of understanding of the risks of modern slavery and human trafficking  in our supply chains and our business, we provide training to our staff. We also encourage our business partners to provide training to their staff and their suppliers.

MEASURES TO ENHANCE OUR EFFECTIVENESS IN COMBATING SLAVERY AND HUMAN TRAFFICKING

We currently believe the risk of slavery or human trafficking in our supply chains to be low.  However, if we determine there may be a supplier who poses a higher level of risk in this  area, we will consider steps, such as auditing or third party verifications. If we suspect a  supplier is involved in slavery or human trafficking we will conduct an inquiry and, if  necessary, take corrective action promptly.

FURTHER STEPS

We continuously review the effectiveness of our Anti-Slavery and Human Trafficking Policy, as we increase our supplier base and enhance our supply chain due diligence.

This statement is made pursuant to section 54(1) of the Modern Slavery Act 2015 and constitutes Elbit Systems UK Limited’s slavery and human trafficking statement for the financial year ending December 31, 2021.
