The opportunity: 

We are looking for a Warehouse Operative to join our team. As a Warehouse Operative, you will be responsible for working with the Warehouse & Logistics Manager in the implementation of a new warehousing operating model for a new equipment facility. This role will be an excellent opportunity to join the Warehouse and Logistics team and play a part in the growth of the team and the business.

What will you be doing: 

As a Warehouse Operative you will be: 

•        Accurate booking and issuing of items within the ERP system.

•        Ensure all products are suitably labelled and packaged to ensure item integrity.

•        Liaising with transport companies, and internal and external customers

•        Performing periodic stock control and stock checks & maintaining all documentation for the purpose of good housekeeping and auditing requirements

•        Kitting (Assembling parts), Production Floor replenishment, Pack and Despatch

•        Loading & unloading of goods including the use of FLT and other manual handling equipment.      

Skills for success: 

•        Experience of working in a AS9100D warehousing environment.

•        Experience with working in an ERP system within a warehouse & logistics environment.

•        Experience operating in kitting operations.

•        Experience of handling electronics & avionics and electro-static discharge (ESD) items.

•        Experience with Dangerous Goods packaging, marking, and handling & storage requirements.

•        Forklift & Material stacker operation (Forklift training will be provided if not already held).
