We are looking for a Warehouse Operative to join our team. As a Warehouse Operative, you will be responsible for working with the Warehouse & Logistics Manager in the implementation of a new warehousing operating model for a new equipment facility. This role will be an excellent opportunity to join the Warehouse and Logistics team and play a part in the growth of the team and the business.
What will you be doing:
As a Warehouse Operative you will be:
Accurate booking and issuing of items within the ERP system.
Ensure all products are suitably labelled and packaged to ensure item integrity.
Liaising with transport companies, and internal and external customers
Performing periodic stock control and stock checks & maintaining all documentation for the purpose of good housekeeping and auditing requirements
Kitting (Assembling parts), Production Floor replenishment, Pack and Despatch
Loading & unloading of goods including the use of FLT and other manual handling equipment.
Skills for success:
Experience of working in a AS9100D warehousing environment.
Experience with working in an ERP system within a warehouse & logistics environment.
Experience operating in kitting operations.
Experience of handling electronics & avionics and electro-static discharge (ESD) items.
Experience with Dangerous Goods packaging, marking, and handling & storage requirements.
Forklift & Material stacker operation (Forklift training will be provided if not already held).
