Systems Engineer

Permanent Systems Engineers | Bristol

iO Associates have partnered with a leading defence electronic company who are going through huge growth. They are looking for experienced Systems Engineers to be the technical lead of Land-based systems projects at the Bristol unit.

Your job at the role is to support with developing systems architectures and writing sub-system specifications, producing and validation of requirements specifications; and supporting systems tests & trials. Also, any additional tasks to ensure the success of the role and support the company. This is a huge multi-million-pound project with the company having several locations globally.

What we are looking for:

  • Understanding of whole life-cycle management of the systems, from concept, architecture, design, and evaluation
  • Thorough understanding of ISO standards (Such as 15288)
  • Thorough understanding of design methodologies such as SysML/UML
  • Software Tools: DOORS / IBM Rhapsody
  • Security clearance
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience

An ideal candidate will also have experience with Electronic Warfare systems, and experience in working with UK MoD.
