We are looking to hire a Lead Service Delivery Engineer who will act as the cross consortium interface in delivery and making decisions within the responsibility framework set by the Transition and Service Programme Manager.
You will act as lead on liaison with MoD and the Royal Navy, helping to establish and maintain relationships as Selborne is delivered over the coming 10+ years.
This role will be pivotal to the smooth transition and delivery of Selborne for ESUK and Fisher to the Royal Navy and its staff.
Responsibilities will include:
Customer interfacing;
Acting a service transition lead for ESUK
Liaison with Royal Navy, MoD and Team Fisher
Supporting programme managers with delivery
System Operations & Management;
Ensure day-to-day support of simulation systems inc. 1st line support
Monitor simulation systems health and faults.
Identify and implement continuous improvements to the system.
Continued change support of simulators and partners
Management of resources and staff relating to simulation activity.
What we're looking for:
Broad understanding of engineering, networking and hardware.
Experience of combat system equipment.
Familiar with safety, security and ITAR.
Defence environment experience.
Ability to monitor, administer and maintain PC and simulation systems.
