Elbit Systems in the UK are a Defence, Technology and Aerospace company working on a range of technologies for both military and civilian applications.

Due to our recent success securing multiple contracts within our Aerospace & Simulation business unit, we now require talented individuals to join us on this exciting journey.  

 

We have a vacancy for a talented requirements engineer to join the team. What will you be doing:

 

As a Requirements Engineer you will be:

  •        Be the interface between the ESUK Technical team and the MoD’s Defence Equipment & Support (DE&S) Requirements Manager (RM) and Project Engineer.

  •        Lead the planning and delivery of Verification activity within an Integrated Test, Evaluation and Acceptance (ITEA) context.

  •        Support the ESUK Technical team to provide an acceptable level of Verification evidence to the DE&S Requirements Manager and Project Engineer.

  •        Clearly demonstrate compliance of ESUK’s product against the DE&S System Requirements Document (SRD) during design and test.

  •        Any additional tasks to ensure the success of the role and support to the Business Unit within ESUK.

 

Skills for success:

  •        Requirements/Systems engineering experience

  •        Thorough understanding of systems engineering principles, including requirements management, verification and validation

  •        Elevated level of accuracy and diligence when capturing, managing and referencing verification evidence.

  •        Ability to rapidly forge effective working relationships with the core ESUK technical team, subcontractors dispersed internationally, and the DE&S Project team.
