We are looking for Synthetic Training Operators to join our team at MCTS Collingwood. You will be working with a team of experienced and talented individuals across multiple disciplines and in an organisation that has the benefit of a global presence with plenty of growth opportunity.
What we're looking for:
We are looking for talented individuals to join us on one of our many exciting journeys. We are recruiting a number of Synthetic Training Operators to join our teams in Collingwood that are providing world class training for the Royal Navy. The role will see you playing a fundamental role in the delivery of Team Fisher's training support for the Royal Navy.
Synthetic Training Operators deliver direct & indirect, multiskilled training within the Maritime Composite Training System (MCTS) and allow for collective and individual training across AWT, AWW, EW, UW and Air Operations. You will control elements of MCTS to assist the training team by applying specialist knowledge and providing a highly trained training partner. This will ensure that the next generation of Naval recruits continue to receive the excellent service to facilitate their future careers.
What will you be doing:
As a Synthetic Training Operator you will be:
Contributing to the effective delivery of high-fidelity training.
Contributing to the overall generation of believable and immersive scenarios and drills.
Work as an exercise controller within the synthetic systems.
Advising and supporting instructors in delivery of training activities.
Assisting with maintaining and monitoring system performance and gathering data to enable improvements for MCTS.
What we're looking for:
Experience working in a RN warship Ops Room as a warfare operative.
Understanding of one RN command system (preferably T23 OR T45)
Understanding of RN warfare tactics, drills & procedures.
Self-confident, self-starter who is able to communicate effectively at all levels.
Customer focussed with an ability to self-motivate.
