The opportunity:
We are looking for Lead Embedded Engineer to join our team. As a Lead Embedded Engineer, you will take responsibility of leading all aspects of design for projects and proposals across our wide portfolio of RF based products.
This is an opportunity to enter the dynamic and challenging world of electronic warfare & ISTAR, where we aim to utilise all aspects of the electromagnetic spectrum to develop cutting edge radars, antennas and electronic counter measure systems.
What will you be doing:
As a Lead Embedded Engineer you will be:
Taking technical ownership of embedded aspects of UK product design
Leading and working on the transfer of technology to the UK, ensuring UK lead development
Supporting and providing guidance to systems, software and other teams on product capabilities
Giving support to UK products on all embedded systems
Implementing algorithms and control systems
Skills for success:
Proven experience of developing and working with embedded systems such as FPGA or DSP.
Experience or understanding SDR technologies and supporting frameworks.
Experience in algorithm design and implementation
Embedded system trade-offs and design choices
Experience in electronic warfare or defence is desired
