After a number of wins within the EW business unit we are now looking to hire an ILS Engineer to deliver a Supportability Analysis programme for next generation Radar Electronic Support Measures system and associated EW Command and Control component that will be deployed across the RN's surface combatant platforms.
Working initially across the delivery of MEWSIC this role would grow to cover a number of advancing projects within the business unit. You will be working within a delivery partnership that includes Babcock and QinetiQ are working closely with these partners to deliver ILS process' for the end user.
Responsibilities will include:
Develop and provide technical reviews of ILS management, planning and reporting.
Assist in the planning and delivery of the MEWSIC supportability analysis.
Develop, review and initiate updates to the LIR.
Act as the ESUK lead for the planning and implementation of:
Logistics demonstration programme.
Support service agreements.
Monitoring and reporting of MEWSIC support solution performance.
What we're looking for:
Experience as an ILS practitioner within DEFSTAN projects.
Experience planning and delivering ILS work packages.
Excellent written and verbal skills with proven experience of ILS productions.
SME knowledge of; FMECA, LORA, RCM, availability analysis, Human Factors.
Understanding of DEFSTANS such as; 00-600, 00-040
