We are looking for a HSE Manager to join our team. As a HSE Manager you will be ensuring the companies compliance to UK Health safety and environmental legislation and codes practice, whilst developing and implementing HSE KPIs and the HSE management plan.
What will you be doing:
As a HSE Manager you will be:
Developing and implementing an HSE management plan and systems to deliver legal compliance and continuous improvement.
Developing, implementing, monitoring and reporting progress against site HSE KPI's.
Monitoring accident reporting/near miss systems, reviewing and updating policies and processes as necessary to achieve business aims
Developing and implementing a robust HSE risk assessment programme
Undertaking Health, Safety and Environmental inspections and audits and champion for ISO certification.
Developing training needs/matrix to comply with statutory HSE requirements Managing the overall business risk and business continuity plan
Skills for success:
Hold a NEBOSH Diploma in Health & Safety and relevant Environmental qualifications.
Experience/training in the auditing of ISO45001 & ISO14001standards.
Proven Managerial background – understanding deliverables, ownership & responsibilities
Previous experience working in an industry sector driving a strong H&S culture and discipline e.g., automotive, aerospace, pharma, oil & gas etc.
Subject Matter Expert in H&S and Environmental Management.
