The opportunity:
We are looking for an ERP Material Planner to join our team. As an ERP Material Planner you will be responsible for day-to-day interactions with our ERP system ensuring the efficient planning and management of materials throughout the production processes in order that supply chain operations are streamlined, inventory levels optimised, and overall operational efficiency maximised
What will you be doing:
As an ERP Material Planner you will be:
Utilising the ERP system to plan and manage material requirements for production orders, ensuring availability of materials at the right time and in the right quantities.
Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including production, procurement, and logistics, to develop and maintain accurate material forecasts and plans.
Monitoring inventory levels and analyse demand patterns to identify potential stock-outs, excesses, or obsolescence risks, proactively taking corrective actions to optimize inventory.
Coordinating with supply chain team to ensure timely delivery of materials, monitoring supplier performance and resolving any issues that may impact production schedules.
Continuously analysing and improving material planning processes, identifying opportunities for automation, standardization, and enhanced data accuracy within the ERP system.
Skills for success:
Proven experience as a Material Planner or similar role, with an understanding of inventory management and a focus on utilizing the ERP system in a manufacturing environment are required.
Experience working in either supply chain / production environment
Experience using an ERP System (LN, Oracle, Dynamics etc…)
