Business Development Director - Maritime

As we continue to grow our UK presence we are now looking to hire an experienced Business Development Director to join our Business winning function to develop our Maritime domain accounts.
The role would see you acting as key point of contact and business winning partner across the Royal Navy and other Government Naval agencies. Allowing ESUK to bring together a united approach to business development for the Maritime domain.
You will be working directly with the business winning teams for our 3 business units and developing relationships with the end customer that will enable business winning opportunities across EW, ISTAR, C4i & Training.
Responsibilities will include:
Accountable to ESUK VP BD & Marketing for developing business across the Maritime domain.
Co-ordinating and identifying industry partners to support with Maritime
Key point of contact for the Maritime domain, influencing customer and industry partners to unite delivery.
Working closely with ESUK MarComms teams to produce Maritime strategy and comms plans.
Responsible for horizon scanning across the domain and spotting requirements and opportunities for new business.
What we're looking for:
Extensive experience within the Maritime Domain within BD, Marketing or Account Management.
Familiarity with Shipley business winning process'.
Excellent relationship builder and capability to manage stakeholders at all levels.
Excellent knowledge of multiple Maritime HQ's and frontline commands.
Tenacious and flexible individual.
