Position HR Officer
Reports to: Head of HR (ESUK A&S)
Contract: FTC for 12 months
Location: Oldham

Purpose

The HR Administrator supports the Head of HR in delivering all aspects of the employee lifecycle including onboarding, payroll processing, performance management, employee engagement and all day-to-day HR activities.


Role Responsibilities

Admin support to all HR activities including:

  • Onboarding process administration
  • Probation review process administration
  • New starter background checks
  • Administration support to ESUK A&S Secondee process
  • Monitoring employee and line manager queries, escalating as needed
  • Administration support for HR Files transferring to online, ensuring employee data integrity
  • Supporting HR in scheduling and monitoring compliance and core HR Training
  • Monthly HR Reporting
  • Any additional tasks to ensure the success of the role and support to the HR Function.

Qualifications & Experience

Essential Skills and Experience
  • HR experience, minimum 2 years
  • Confident communication skills
  • Proven ability to manage priorities
  • Experience in HR department, ideally in employee lifecycle processes
  • Excellent IT skills especially in Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
  • Experience of using hr system(s)
  • Experience of working within complex organisation(s)
Desirable Skills and Experience
  • Experience in defence or public sector
  • Experience of HR System as an administrator
  • Experience withing a fast growth environment
Education
  • CIPD desirable
Professional Membership
  • CIPD (Not essential)
